I finally crossed the line and entered Pennsylvania! My first stop was at the Museum in "New Freedom" where I found a plethora of information and history of the "North Central Railroad". I was greeted by Chuck Neal (pictured left) and given the grand tour of the museum. He also gave me permission to use the photographs that are included on this page.

The first item interest was a graph of elevations along the trail.

   There is quite a collection of Train Images.

The Scale still works!!!

This place is a MUST SEE!!! There is also a small deli with GOOD FOOD at this location. It is a great break along the trail...

I will putting more information on this page soon. Chuck gave me the name and
number of a history buff in Timonioum that I will be contacting soon.
