As with any dedicated photographer, my work has evolved through the years. I retired from professional photography around 2012 and have dedicated myself to my love of nature and the well being of our environment. My images have transformed from from only “straight photography” to include “painterly” effects that I feel more fully express the quintessential nature of the scenes I encounter. I have recently acquired a “Remote Pilot Certification” (Part 107 – commercial drone license). This will add a new perspective to my work and perhaps bring me back to doing “professional” work.

This blog is intended to provide “backstories” to selected images and eventually I would like to have a section dedicated to photographers to discuss various points of interests.
